How requests work
Posting is free and does not start a subscription. Upstate Deal Scout reviews cleaning and landscaping requests, confirms the requester's email, and shares suitable requests with eligible subscriber contractors whose stated services and territory match. Contractors may contact you directly to provide quotes. We cannot guarantee any response, price, availability, contractor qualifications or outcome.
You select the contractor, verify licenses, insurance and references as appropriate, agree on scope and price, and pay the contractor directly. We do not submit bids, perform the work, hold job payments or enter contracts for either party. Do not upload unlawful material, sensitive records or images you do not have permission to share.
What we collect and share
We collect your name, email, city, state, ZIP, project description, timing, optional budget and optional photos. With your consent, these are shared privately with matching subscriber contractors for responding to your request. Requests are not listed on a public job board. Private links can be accessed by people who possess them, so recipients must not forward them. We do not screen or guarantee contractors.
Our hosting/storage provider Cloudflare, email provider and AI-assisted project operator process requests to provide the service. Photo uploads are resized and embedded metadata removed. A hashed network identifier helps limit spam; Cloudflare may separately process technical access logs. We do not add advertising trackers to this form.
Confirmation, closing and retention
Our project assistant emails you to confirm the request before distribution; processing is not instant or 24/7. Use the private management link shown after submission to close your request, or email upstatedealscout@gmail.com from your request address. Closing stops access through our private links and further distribution; information already received by contractors cannot be recalled.
Requests expire after 30 days. We delete request details and photos from active storage after expiry during routine cleanup; provider backups may retain data briefly afterward. Support email and delivery records may be retained when needed to provide support, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations.
